The mirror doesn't do you justice.

It has happened to all of us. It happened to me today.

I saw a girl, she intimidated me. She looked mean. Yet, the more she spoke about her morals and values, the more beautiful she looked. Her eyes became softer, her mannerism gentler, she was kind.

Then, of course, we've all seen the other side of the spectrum. We look at someone and think 'Whoo! She's beautiful/ He's handsome', and then they start speaking and you immediately turn around.

We all struggle with insecurities, particularly about how we look. My biggest insecurity is that I have acne scars. Yours may be different. However, as cliché as if may seem, what you think, say and what you believe far outshine how you look.

Honey, may what you think, speak and say always outshine how you look- always.

"You should not use outward aids to make yourselves beautiful, such as the way you do your hair, or the jewellery you put on, or the dresses you wear. Instead, your beauty should consist of your true inner self, the ageless beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of the greatest value in God's sight."
- 1 Peter 3:3-4
