New Series coming up!

The Class of 2022 will receive the results in 9 days!

Remember when you were anxiously waiting for your matric results? Remember getting that SMS and seeing your results for the first time? Remember the excitement, disappointment and tough decisions you had to make afterwards?

Ironically, I realized that most of us hadn't anticipated how overwhelming the entire process would be. I believe it's time we shared our experiences. In the When Change Comes series, we will be talking about the emotions and experiences during the waiting period, Result Day, and the weeks afterwards.

If you are part of the matric class of 2022, or you're still in school, this series is for you!

If you're past that point, this is your opportunity to share your experience. Sharing our experiences makes the unknown less scary to the matriculants currently going through it. Your story will guide a matriculant who may find themselves in the same situation.

I will be conducting relaxed interviews with three people in three categories.

  1. If you got the matric results you wanted. Several universities offered you opportunities for several study courses. You had many options, this left you confused and overwhelmed.

  2. You didn't get the results you had hoped for. This resulted in you pursuing a path that was not your initial plan. For example, you were provisionally accepted for medicine, but because your matric results dropped, you decided to study your alternative choice of Law.

  3. You did not do well. As a result, you decided to do an Upgrade year.

Even if you don't fall into these three categories; if you want to share your experience, do not hesitate to contact us:
